The Gypsy Exposure is a boutique interior design studio founded and led by Rutu Sathia.

With deep appreciation for art, culture, history and human connection, Rutu approaches design as both craft and storytelling. Inspired early on by her grandfather — an engineer and contractor — she developed a profound respect for architecture and the built environment, a passion that led her to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.

Over the past 15+ years, Rutu has worked with respected architecture and design firms, shaping environments across corporate workplaces, retail, hospitality and educational institutions. While her portfolio spans large-scale commercial projects, her heart has always been drawn to more intimate, human-centered spaces — places where design directly touches everyday life.

We believe spaces are not just seen - they are felt. They hold energy. They shape behavior. They influence connection. Our work is rooted in experience-based design — layering history, texture, culture, and soul to create environments that feel lived-in, collected, and undeniably personal.
